When to order flight tickets?

1.     Whoever knows his flight dates, and must reserve the tickets, should order the tickets with discounts. You need to remember that in case you change the flight date or cancel it, you'll need to pay a high fine, especially when you go on a family trip. This is true for both charter flights and regular flights with restrictions.

2.     If you haven't decided about the date yet, don’t run and buy tickets just because of a few dollars discount.

3.      Within the vacations of the airline companies that offer a discount in exchange for an early payment, it is said specifically, that "canceling your flight from the moment you order, including not arriving to the flight or the hotel, will drag full cancelation payment" which means the full amount of reservation value. This is the situation unless it is written otherwise in the conditions of the service providers (airline companies, hotels, car rentals, etc). In any case: in packages that have registration payment, you won't receive that money back. Ultimately this means that even if at the end you don’t go on the vacation you ordered, the cancelation payment will cost you a lot of money: you won't fly but you'll still pay.

4.     Check for the possibility to take a night flight, that way you could sleep in the plane and reach your destination in the morning (don’t arrive too soon, you won't have anything to do at 3 am).

5.     It's important to check for different flight dates around the wanted date, because sometimes if you change your flight date, you might find a cheaper ticket. Today the widespread introduction or the new trend is a spontaneous vacation which means ordering flight tickets at the last moment, or taking a package with a hotel or a rented car at the last moment. Airline companies lower their prices at the last moment and in order not to damage the higher price, they offer packages (it's not mandatory to use the rented car).
