Ordering regular flight tickets

You need to do an extensive survey of all the airlines companies and choose the
company that will bring you the best service + safety, in the cheapest price of
the IATA (regular airlines companies union which deals with the commercial side
of the flight). You're subjected to the limits of the flight tickets for each
passenger (according to the age) + combining destinations (if there are) + port
and security taxes + additions (if there are). For your information, the
discounts given in the travelling agencies are for the flight ticket only and
not for the taxes.
A new concept in the flight ticket field is the "electronic card", which is a
paper with a serial number on in, and it's issued when you order the tickets.
An important recommendation: you should reserve a flight to the peak seasons at
least 4 months in advance.
1. Usually, it doesn’t require cancelation payment. Therefore it's best to
reserve a flight ticket as soon as possible, even if you're not sure that you'll
fly. In any case, make sure when you order the tickets that the price of the
tickets doesn’t require cancelation payment. If there is, ask when they start
charging (usually after they print the tickets). Every flight ticket has a
minimum and maximum time and date for printing the tickets, so demand that
information from the travelling agent.
2. You can fly to almost every destination with more than one airline company.
The prices and flight's conditions sometimes vary from one company to another.
The cheapest prices usually require you to fly with the same company throughout
the entire route. If you choose a company that makes stops or changes planes
along the way, find out where you pick your personal luggage (at the final
destination or at where you stop). Moreover, find out in which terminal you
landed from and from which terminal you takeoff, in order to stand in the
schedule.
3. You must check what the name of the airport you're fling to, the airport you
continuing flying with and the airport you're landing at. There are many
destinations that have more than one airport! Due to multi terminals at the
airports, make sure from which terminal does the flight takes off from.
4. A refund for parts of the flight that weren’t made is calculated deducting
the parts that were made according to their full price at the same direction,
and there are cases in which a refund wasn’t given for unused flight parts. Some
of the airlines companies charge cancelation payments for different kinds of
tickets.
5. It's important to give the airline company the current telephone number where
you're going to stay, in order for the company to be able to track you and
inform you in a change of schedules – whether if it's in the proximity of the
flight date and whether if it's not the travelling agencies working hours (in
which case, the announcement comes from the travelling agency).
6. You need to inform the flight company of a baby/disabled/pensioner/ club
member – in order to receive the proper service.
7. You need to inform the travelling company of the kind of food you are
interested in during the flight – only in regular flights.
Attention! Babies until the age of two are not entitled for seat and luggage.
You cannot ask for certain seats in the flight and/or ask for first seats in the
plane. Ordering a baby cradle is a request only and depended on the approval of
the flight companies and their responsibilities.
